9.1 RIDDOR Reporting Times

• The 7-day period excludes the accident day but includes weekends and holidays.

9.2 RIDDOR Record Keeping

• Keep records of reportable injuries, over-3-day injuries, diseases and dangerous occurrences.
• Records can include a saved online report or accident-book entry.
• Keep records of reportable events for at least 3 years.
• Produce records when requested by HSE or local authority inspectors.
