Changing the type of licence

  • Examples:
    • Restricted → Standard.
    • Standard National → Standard International.
  • Use GV80A at least 9 weeks before the change is required.
  • Evidence may be required for:
    • Good repute.
    • Financial standing.
    • CPC/professional competence.
  • Standard International requires an internationally qualified transport manager.
  • Application is published and open to statutory objections.
  • No advertising is required.
  • If approved, relevant documents and vehicle discs must be returned for amendment.
