Review of operating centres

  • Operating centres can be reviewed at 5-year intervals — a quinquennial review.
  • Reviews are at the Traffic Commissioner’s discretion.
  • Complaints make a review more likely.
  • Commissioner may:
    • Remove the operating centre from the licence.
    • Add conditions.
    • Hold a public inquiry.
  • Compliance with finance, good repute and professional competence is also checked at intervals not exceeding 5 years.
