6. Mixed EU and Domestic Driving

  • EU limits may never be exceeded while doing EU-regulated work.
  • Any EU driving on a day requires EU daily-rest and weekly-rest rules.
  • EU driving counts towards Domestic daily driving and duty limits.
  • Domestic driving cannot be counted as an EU break or rest period.
  • On a day involving Domestic driving, the 10-hour driving and 11-hour duty limits must be obeyed.
